Dr. Melanie Thomas-Price is the First Lady of the Church of Redemption. She is the CEO/Administrator of A Leap of Faith Child Development Center, INC. A Leap of Faith, INC is a childcare facility in Wilmington, Delaware. Since 2002, License Public School Teacher. Dr. Price has a master's degree in elementary education and a bachelor's degree in behavioral science. Dr. Price received a doctorate in ministry from Friends International Christian University with a focus on biblical counseling. Dr. Price also earned a doctorate in education with a emphasis on organizational leadership from Wilmington University in 2021. In 2011 Dr. Melanie Thomas-Price had the privilege of writing and publishing a book entitled, You Can Choose to be Happy. She was named the Small Business Association's 2016, Minority Business Owner of the Year in 2019, in 2020 she earned the Her Story Our History Award 2021 she presented at a TEDx platform discussion. In 2023 Dr. Price was appointed by the Governor to a member of the Delaware Early Childhood Council. As well, Dr. Price serves on the Advisory Board of the Women's Business Center. In addition, she has served as the Interdenominational Association of Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows of Wilmington and Vicinity's Local President. Currently she works with her husband in ministry. 

Helen Hopkins is a licensed minister and author. She speaks at conferences, workshops, and various events. Helen performs Weddings and Home Going Celebrations. She is empowered by God to B.L.E.S.S - Build, Lift, Edify, Strengthen, and Support those who are broken, wounded, bound, and oppressed.  Helen is a 1995 two-year graduate of the School of Biblical Studies in New Castle, Delaware where she earned a Certificate, and Ministerial license.

She co-hosted a local television program in the New Castle County area titled, "Touching You", for a period of four years with her late husband Stanford N. Hopkins. She has served in ministerial capacities such as singing in choirs, leading worship, rendering solo's, performing concerts, hospital ministry coordinator - providing ministry to the sick in local hospitals, nursing homes and in home visitations.

She established and led a local women's ministry for a period of four years where she ministered, developed leadership, and provided spiritual counseling for women.

Helen is a Member of Love of Christ Church in Bear DE. The Founding Pastors are Stephen and Barbara Harvell. The Senior Pastors are Kirk and Shianne Pearson. Helen serves as Small Group Leader/Coach, Small Group Intercessory Prayer leader, Prayer Minister, and coordinator/trainer of Urgent Prayer Requests operations.

Helen has a passion for the word of God.  One of her favorite scriptures is: Zephaniah 3:17  - "For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs." (NLT)
