Pastor Glenda surely has a servant’s heart. She and her husband; Pastor Anthony Bailey has a heart for the people of God and are genuinely concerned about the people’s walk with the Lord and their pursuit of God. Since January of 2007, she has been a servant first and foremost as she pastors with her husband at Word Alive Worship Center. She is a mother of four; Davien (Shenice), Anthony II, Riane, and Christopher and a grandmother to Makayla, Alexis and Olivia. She is also an international recording artist, having shared the stage with many and released her own c.d. entitled “A Servant’s Heart” in 2001. In 2017, Pastor Glenda graduated with her Master’s from Springfield College in Human Services with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling. 

In 2011, after monthly gatherings with the Women of Destiny God birthed in Pastor Glenda the Dream Again conference. Every year since, Pastor Glenda has helped to nurture, cultivate and ultimately help women see the manifestations of their God-given dreams.

After much time in prayer Pastor Glenda launched Glenda Bailey Ministries in 2019. The Dream Again conference is now national after having stirred the hearts of God’s people with the first stop in Chattanooga, TN this past summer. Dr. Melanie Thomas-Price is the First Lady of the Church of Redemption as well as the CEO/Administrator of A Leap of Faith Child Development Center, INC. A Leap of Faith, INC is a childcare facility in Wilmington, Delaware. Since 2002, we have been providing early care and education services to children ages six weeks to twelve years. Dr. Price was deeply committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children from a young age. She recognized the link between high-quality early childhood care and academic performance later in life.

Dr. Price started her career with the Dupont Company early on and spent ten years there. She attended Wilmington University and Delaware State University for her studies. Dr. Price has a master's degree in elementary education and a bachelor's degree in behavioral science. Dr. Price received a doctorate in ministry from Friends International Christian University with a focus on biblical counseling. Dr. Price also earned a doctorate in education with a emphasis on organizational leadership from Wilmington University in 2021. She has experience teaching Special Education in Delaware's public schools. In addition, Dr. Price was a family crisis therapist for the State of Delaware's K–3 Early Prevention Unit prior to beginning her career as a teacher.

In 2011 Dr. Melanie Thomas-Price had the privilege of writing and publishing a book entitled, You Can Choose to be Happy. For some it takes great effort to cultivate joy and happiness. Thomas-Price talks about how she found the courage to choose happiness in the wake of so much sadness. She encourages everyone to look at life's circumstances and to change them by accepting the Word of God. You Can Choose to Be Happy includes short passages to read and meditate upon. Followed by a place to reflect in writing, encouraging the reader to record their thoughts. This book and journal is designed to help you train yourself to reframe your mindset. By altering your habits, you can transform your outcomes and live a happy life. 

Today Dr. Melanie Thomas-Price lives with her spouse of 22 years, Pastor Paxton J. A. Price. She still owns and operates A Leap of Faith Child Development Center, INC. 

Apostle Maria Ushery Apostle Maria Ushery, A Delaware native, Is a proud mother of three amazing children and two beloved grandchildren. Her deep-rooted connection to her home state and her role as a nurturing, parent and grandparent shaped her identity. Maria has devoted two decades to ministry, establishing Women of Outreach, a prayer focus organization. Maria has been tasked with a mission to heal the brokenhearted, liberate the captives, and free those who were bound. (Isaiah 61:1) This mission serves to bring hope, comfort, and freedom to those who are in desperate need. In June 2019, she took on the role of a Pastor, accepting the responsibility with open arms. Then in February 2020, God revealed to her to establish Rebuilders Faith Ministries, Inc. As she firmly believes that there is still more to come. 

Apostle Maria, a certified Christian counselor, certified life coach, and theology graduate from Andersonville Seminary with a Master’s in Biblical Education, possesses extensive knowledge and expertise. Through her comprehensive training, she provides invaluable guidance and support to individuals seeking spiritual and emotional growth, assisting them in navigating life's challenges with faith and resilience. In December 2023, Apostle Maria reached a significant milestone as she published her first book ‘’Refined for Purpose” and the journal “The Believer’s Decree”.  Apostle Maria's recent recognition as one of the Top 10 Impactful Voices on the Move represents a significant milestone in her journey of influence and inspiration. She was prominently featured on the front cover of the March 2024 issue of Gleaming Dreamers Magazine and the K.I.S.H Magazine Billboard, highlighting her profound impact within the community and beyond. Furthermore, her appearance on The Dreamer In You show on Dominion TV further emphasizes her far-reaching influence. Through her significant contributions to spreading the teachings of the Kingdom, she has left a lasting impact, exemplifying profound love and steadfast commitment to God’s Word.

Kamika Lynette Bell is an entrepreneur, writer, educator, former beauty pageant queen, and notable fashion icon. She belongs to the new generation of uniquely-endowed African American women who are increasingly gaining recognition for blending their unique entrepreneurial vision with their formidable intellect to achieve strategic goals. Born and raised in Chester, Pennsylvania, Kamika’s commitment to service and leadership began early, nurtured by her loving family and deeply rooted in faith. 

Kamika is the proud Founder and Executive Director of Girls With Pearls Inc., a transformative mentoring organization launched in June 2012. Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, Girls With Pearls serves girls ages 7–18 with a mission to inspire confidence, cultivate leadership, and expose them to the arts, public speaking, etiquette, and civic engagement. Under Kamika’s leadership, the program has empowered hundreds of girls and their families through workshops, etiquette training, leadership summits, community service projects, and enrichment experiences, including educational trips to Washington, D.C., and Delaware’s Legislative Hall.

In 2024, Kamika released her debut book, Girls With Pearls: A Moving Story of Inspiration, Mentorship & Empowerment, which received 4th place in the Delaware Press Association Communications Contest. 

In addition to her community work, Kamika is an emerging scholar and accomplished writer whose research and publications focus on equity, leadership, and organizational development. As a current doctoral candidate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Liberty University, Kamika’s research centers on the lived experiences of Black women in leadership. 

Kamika holds a B.S. in Human Services, graduating cum laude from Springfield College, and earned a Master’s in Education from Drexel University. She is also a graduate of McKinsey & Company’s Black Leadership Academy, where she deepened her understanding of executive leadership, systems thinking, and strategic influence.

At the heart of her work lies a foundational belief that Black and Brown children deserve environments where they are seen, affirmed, and prepared to lead. Whether she is mentoring girls, contributing to academic discourse, or writing her next manuscript, Kamika Lynette Bell is building a legacy defined by love, scholarship, and transformational leadership.

Above all, she is a devoted mother, servant leader, and voice for change, committed to creating a more just and joyful world, one empowered life at a time.
